Broccoli Tots are a delicious, healthy snack or side dish made with broccoli, cheese, and breadcrumbs. Perfect for kids and adults alike!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups steamed broccoli, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if preferred)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil for greasing
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small tots, about 1-2 tablespoons each. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly grease the tops of the tots with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
