Broccoli Pizza is a healthy alternative to traditional pizza. The crunchy, nutritious broccoli crust is topped with your favorite pizza toppings for a guilt-free meal!
Ingredients
- 1 head of broccoli (steamed and chopped)
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup additional mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- Your favorite pizza toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Steam the broccoli until tender and then chop it finely.
- In a bowl, combine the broccoli, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed.
- Place the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and form it into a round pizza crust shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until it is golden and crispy.
- Remove the crust from the oven, and spread pizza sauce on top.
- Add the remaining mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and enjoy your healthy broccoli pizza!
