Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- 1 lb pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
Instructions:
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same pan, add white wine (or chicken broth) and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add broccoli florets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender, adding salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
- Return shrimp to the pan, then toss in the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese. Stir everything together until well combined.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and more Parmesan cheese if desired.
