Broccoli Pizza

Broccoli Pizza is a healthy alternative to traditional pizza. The crunchy, nutritious broccoli crust is topped with your favorite pizza toppings for a guilt-free meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli (steamed and chopped)
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup additional mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • Your favorite pizza toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam the broccoli until tender and then chop it finely.
  3. In a bowl, combine the broccoli, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  4. Place the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and form it into a round pizza crust shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until it is golden and crispy.
  6. Remove the crust from the oven, and spread pizza sauce on top.
  7. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, slice, and enjoy your healthy broccoli pizza!
